YP Awards 2022

The Alliance is in search of the top young professionals under 40 in the family wealth industry. The 2022 Young Professionals Awards honor the industry's rising stars who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions to the industry.

  • Neither nominators nor nominees are required to be current members of The Family Wealth Alliance
  • Self-nominations are welcome, but all nominees are strongly encouraged to include a letter of support from a supervisor, mentor, or client
  • Winners from the 2020 YP Awards are eligible to win again
  • Only complete applications will be considered
  • There is no fee to apply

Scoring Criteria

Nominees are judged based on three criteria, equally weighted and averaged together to calculate their overall score. Weighting is executed by a computerized scoring system and not by judges’ determination. Judges may abstain from judging a category or a nominee if they believe there is a conflict of interest. Judges provide their unbiased assessment on each candidate.

Judges look for the following elements while reviewing nominees:

  • Thoughtfulness of the application
  • Insights into the industry
  • Introspective reflections and considerations
  • Demonstrated impact
  • Does the candidate seem to focus on putting clients’ interests above their own?
  • Does the candidate appear to have high standards and values?
  • Does leadership see true potential in the candidate?

A panel of third-party judges will review all applications. All judges agree to recuse themselves from discussing and voting on nominations with which he/she could be perceived as having a conflict of interest.
