Alliance Events are known for a welcoming and collegial atmosphere unlike anything else in the industry. Our events are intimate and purposeful – no large auditoriums or exhibition halls.

Content is always driven by member needs, covering everything from on-the-ground challenges to high-level firm strategy and the latest industry research. Event formats range from intimate luncheons to three-day conferences.

Alliance Fall Forum

The Alliance Fall Forum is a three-day conference that draws established executives and up-and-coming talent for a 360-degree representation of the family wealth industry. Expect compelling speakers, topics geared toward family wealth professionals of all levels, facilitated introductions, and numerous opportunities for peer exchange and networking. This event is open to non-members, averages approximately 100-150 attendees, and takes place annually in October/November.

Alliance Summit

The Alliance Summit is an invitation-only retreat for C-level executives from Alliance member and partner firms.
Topics are geared toward the highest level of family wealth professional, with significant time devoted to strategic decision-making and peer exchange between like-minded leaders. This event averages approximately 60-80 attendees and takes place annually in February/March.

Summer Gathering

 

The Alliance Summer Gathering convenes leaders from across the industry to learn and network through intimate workshops and guest speaker presentations. This is an invitation-only event for Alliance Leader Roundtable participants.

The 2021 Summer Gathering was held in Chicago; the 2022 Summer Gathering will be held in Boston.

 

 

 

 
 

 

 

Webinars

In addition to in-person gatherings, the Alliance regularly hosts live and on-demand webinars and webinar series. Topics range from the timely (expert guidance on COVID-19 and remote work implications) to the timeless (our Building and Maintaining a Best-in-Class Firm Series).

Continuing education

 

We partner with family wealth leaders and other expert practitioners to offer real-world, practical education that qualifies for continuing education credits.

The Family Wealth Alliance is a CFP® Board Continuing Education Provider and has successfully met the criteria established by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. We are also registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

Credit for CFP and CPA professionals is available on a variety of topics throughout the year.
