FWA Talks: Top 5 Cyber Threats to your business and clients

The most recent highly publicized breach of an extremely large casino system reminds us about the crippling impact of things like ransomware.  Ransomware is just the end result of not addressing some of the most important cyber threats. Some of these threats are new because of emerging technologies like AI and cloud computing, and some are so similar to how hackers attacked systems back in the days of AOL.com and Netscape. Join this session led by PURE’s Stuart Tainsky, CIO & Head of Administration and Aruna Rawat, VP of Enterprise Security, as they explain these threats and provide insight into how best to mitigate them in both your own work environments and your clients’ personal lives.

FWA Talks is our take on TED Talks. In these brief mini-sessions, we will cover specialized topics that are top of mind for member firms. Each session will cover what you don’t know, why it matters, and how to talk to your clients about it. We hope that each FWA Talk will offer practical tips and applicable knowledge you can implement back in the office on Monday.

Speakers:

  • Stuart Tainsky, Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Head of Administration, PURE Insurance
  • Aruna Rawat, Vice President of Enterprise Security, PURE Insurance

Mental Health & UHNW Advisory: Standards for professional excellence and lessons in personal well-being

Advisors to UHNW individuals and families are privileged with the most intimate details of their clients' lives. In these positions of trust, they are frequently asked for advice and counsel on issues relating to their clients' mental health and relational well-being. Over the last decade, the need for advisors to navigate these requests has grown as women and next generation family members are calling for 'best in class' advisors to help them manage the internal threats to their financial and relational well-being that emanate from a wide range of mental health and relational challenges. Simultaneously, advisors have had to deal with challenges to their own mental and relational health as the scope of their work has expanded to include services related to the non-financial aspects of their clients' well being.

In this presentation, Dr. Paul Hokemeyer, one of the world’s foremost experts on UHNW identity and mental health will share his academic research and clinical experience in working with UHNW families around the globe on how to navigate these turbulent waters with a steady hand, an empathic heart, professional integrity and through a lens of self care and personal well-being.

Dr. Paul Hokemeyer, Internationally Renowned Author & Psychotherapist for UHNW Individuals
