Standing Out:
The Art and Science of Today's Experience Economy

Join us at the 2024 Alliance Fall Forum: Standing Out, where we will explore the art and science of thriving in today's experience economy—a landscape where client experience is not just a consideration, but a cornerstone of success. In an era marked by rapid technological advancements, impending wealth transfer, and intense competition for talent, the ability to stand out has never been more crucial. This forum will explore how family wealth firms can craft experiences that resonate deeply with clients and turn service delivery into a memorable, impactful journey.

As we navigate the complexities of 2024, it's clear that best-in-class service alone is no longer enough. Clients not only expect to receive exceptional service, they also want to feel its value in every interaction. The experience economy demands that we connect with what makes clients human—their values, emotions, and needs. It is through this connection, fostered by empathy, engagement, and personalization, that firms can differentiate themselves, cultivate loyalty, and secure long-term client retention.

The Family Wealth Alliance invites you to join us in Chicago as we illuminate the strategies, technologies, and mindsets required to excel in this new reality. Discover how to transform your services into experiences that leave a lasting impact on your clients and ensure your firm's continued success in the experience-driven economy.

Welcome to The Family Wealth Alliance Fall Forum – we look forward to connecting you.

The Fall Forum will take place at the Fairmont Chicago at Millennium Park.

Opening Keynote Dinner: Build Belonging with Dennis Moseley-Williams - ft. the 2024 Young Professionals Awards

Build Belonging: Every Business a Club, Every Client a Member

Organic growth is driven by brand loyalty. Each loyal customer is an ambassador who can introduce your service or product to others. Using examples from Harley Davidson, Lululemon, Dutch Bros, and Taylor Swift, Dennis Moseley-Williams will demonstrate the power of rethinking your relationships and explain why every business owner must become a business leader. This shift doesn’t just lead to more revenue and business – it does so with less effort and cost. You’ll learn how to craft an experience that goes beyond transactions, weaving in ideas and identity to forge deep connections. Discover how to build a tribe of loyal clients who support and amplify your brand, ensuring sustainable success in an overcrowded and competitive market.

Key takeaways:

  • Understanding the importance of creating a community rather than a client base. When clients feel they belong, they are more loyal, invest more money, and refer more easily.
  • Introduction to key frameworks of CX design so that advisors can create more client value, and therefore profits for their practice.
  • Embracing the concept of Membership to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

After a long and winding road, the 2024 presidential election is finally here. In a lively, entertaining, and strictly non-partisan presentation, David Wasserman cuts through the spin and offers a data-driven forecast of how upcoming elections might unfold.  Do Democrats have any hope of defending a 51-49 Senate majority or taking back a closely divided House? Wasserman will take attendees on a tour of the current moment, drawing on his extensive interviews with both parties' candidates and strategists to shed light on the top issues on voters' minds.

Hear from a panel of leaders who have established a culture of sales and referrals throughout their teams and strategically integrated responsibility for business development across their firms.

Speakers:

  • Lynne Born, Chief Practice Officer Aspiriant
  • Bill Shannon, Director of Strategic Growth, Altair Advisers
  • Sheila Schroeder, Consultant, Regional Head of Business Development, Wealthspire
